With this exhibition of mostly smaller paintings, San Diego artist Philip Petrie creates a mythological world inhabited by beings both human and animal. These creatures reference a future of ecological catastrophe and the light and darkness we all carry within us. The exhibition runs from May 2 to June 3 at the In-Between Gallery, 4184 Adams Ave, San Diego. An opening will be held on Friday, May 5 from 5-8 PM and gallery hours are Wednesdays 2-5 PM and by appointment. For more information contact Phil Petrie at petriep2@gmail.com.
